Despite an announcement on his blog about his music retirement plan, Kid Cudi said otherwise. He clarified what he wrote on his blog during a live performance at 2009 SXSW music festival taking place on Thursday, March 19 at Aces Lounge in Austin, Texas.

"You remember when Spiderman didn't want to be Spiderman no more?" Cudi told the crowd at the event. "Cause his personal life was so f***** up, but he was just, like, killing s*** as Spiderman...? So I can't stop, you know what I mean, .. no more retirement."

Cudi appeared on the stage of Aces Lounge few minutes after announced not being able to perform at the event due to missing his flight. During the music festival, the Kanye West's protege delivered his favorite materials and did some freestyles for the crowd.

Kid Cudi previously claimed to make no more solo album and insisted that his collaboration album called "The Almighty Gloryous" with fellow rapper Chip Tha Ripper will be his last record. At that time, he said, "The drama that comes with it is more overwhelming than I was dealing with when I was piss-poor broke."
