Coldplay will be hitting the road in North America starting from May to August in support of their latest installment 'Viva La Vida'.

AceShowbiz - A number of summer tour dates to support Coldplay's fourth studio album "Viva La Vida" have been revealed. Serving as an extended run for their previously-announced tour dates, the summer roadshow will be held for approximately three months from mid May to the first week of August in North America.

Coldplay will be making a live appearance at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 15. After performing at Charlotte Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C. on August 7, they will return to Florida on August 9 to wrap up the gigs at Tampa's Ford Amphitheatre.

Before flying to North America, Coldplay have to complete several dates in New Zealand, Asia and United Arab Emirates. They will be seen entertaining concertgoers in Auckland on March 18 and 19, performing in Singapore on March 23, and singing in Hongkong two days later. After that, they will be in Abu Dhabi for a live concert on March 28.

Coldplay have spent this year touring through various places around the world to promote the new album. Most recently, they performed in Australia's charity event, the Sound Relief, to help victims of bushfires within the country.
