Eight 'Avatar' Trailers Displeased James Cameron
Movie

While it has been claimed that eight trailers have been made for action sci-fi 'Avatar', director James Cameron is reported unsatisfied with the result of all of them.

AceShowbiz - Director James Cameron is reportedly displeased with any of the "Avatar" trailers being made. According to MarketSaw, eight trailers have already been made for the upcoming sci-fi movie, but none of them gets the approval from Cameron, forcing the filmmaker to develop one himself.

"EIGHT trailers have already been made for AVATAR and all of them failed the test with James Cameron," so MarketSaw reported on the matter. Giving further explanation on the reason, the trade wrote, "He is hard at work prepping his own trailer for the masses as he knows the first trailer has to be done right."

In addition to the news, MarketSaw claimed that clips from the Sam Worthington-starring film may be shown at 2009 ShoWest, which will be held from March 30 to April 2 in Las Vegas, and the movie is based on real science. "Its fair to say that there are surprises in store," read the report. "What Weta and Cameron have done is create a complete alien ecosystem grounded in hard science. If Pandora were real, it would look and feel like what will be represented on screen."

Directed, co-produced and written by James Cameron, "Avatar" sees Sam Worthington starring as a paraplegic ex-marine war veteran, while Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez are among the cast ensemble. The big budget digital 3-D movie set for December 18 U.S. release follows the ex-marine as he is thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.
