Father Speaks Up About Rihanna's Current Condition

Rihanna's father says the Barbadian singer has "some bruising" as a result of Chris Brown's alleged attack, but is "all right".

AceShowbiz - Ronald Fenty, the father of Rihanna, tells People in an interview that his singer daughter is "all right" after allegedly becoming the victim of an attack by boyfriend Chris Brown last Sunday, February 8. Furthermore confirming that Rihanna has "some bruising", Ronald won't go into details about the bruise though.

"They seemed pretty happy," Ronald recalls his last meeting with Rihanna and Chris in July, 2008 adding "I don't know what went wrong." Speaking of his reaction when he first heard report of his daughter got attacked by Chris, Ronald confesses, "I didn't believe it. I know my daughter. You think you know somebody, but you really don't."

On Rihanna's silence about the incident, Ronald says, "At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world." As for this time on, Rihanna is spending time with her girl friends while she heals, Ronald opens up.

Drawing silver lining from Rihanna and Chris' incident, Ronald confesses to People he won't tell Rihanna what to do though he has seen her on Thursday, February 12. He simply says, "If it were me, I'd move on." As for Chris, Ronald has been quoted as telling US Weekly, "I hope he learned his lesson and that this will never happen to another women."

In another Rihanna's news, it has been claimed that she already dumped Chris Brown soon after their altercation. She, as claimed by News Of The World, initially planned to take him back following his alleged attack on her, but quickly changed her mind after having discussions with her family and close friends.

"Rihanna really did think that Chris was the love of her life. But when everyone started to question their relationship, she burst into tears and reluctantly agreed that they were right. She just can't believe it's ended this way," an insider has been cited as saying.
