Rumor has it, Mariah Carey's music video for "My Love", her collaborative single with The-Dream, will be directed by her husband Nick Cannon. Auditions have reportedly been held in North Hollywood on Wednesday, January 28 to seek actors and extras for the video.
Furthermore, those passing the auditions are rumored to be shooting the video this Saturday, January 31 in Los Angeles. Neither Mariah nor Nick's management teams give statement on the proposed idea though.
In related news, The-Dream has shared that he will helm Mariah Carey's next studio album. Speaking to DJ Skee during an interview on Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM, he revealed the working title of her new effort is "MC3".
The-Dream opened up, "I've been working on this Mariah Carey thing for the last four days. Her working title for this next album, which is what I call it, is 'MC3'." He then added, "I think it's about just writing an album that includes the focus of all the hits that she's had. ... She can't take a loss, she has to do everything to the T, so it's basically like we're trying to make a greatest hits without using the greatest hits."
