An ex-con burnt with revenge fire is playing games with Detective Danny Baxter in the action thriller "12 Rounds". Apt to its title, Baxter has to face 12 challenges set by the evil crime lord named Miles Jackson in order to save his girlfriend.
A trailer of the movie coming from the director of "Die Hard 2" has been released. In the footage, it is revealed how a past accident leads to the kidnapping of Baxter's girlfriend. On his duty, the female companion of Miles was killed in an accident, but the con doesn't think it was. So a year later he retaliates by kidnapping Molly and gives Baxter a chance to redeem his 'fault' by going through 12 challenges around the streets of New Orleans in a short limited amount of time.
Danny Baxter is played by WWE John Cena while Miles Jackson is played by "Shanghai Knights" actor Aidan Gillen. The movie coming from the producer of "Speed" will open in U.S. theaters on March 27.
