Entertainment Weekly has come out with two exclusive and new "Terminator Salvation" photos in its "First Look At 2009" issue. One of the images serves to be a promo shot of Christian Bale as the grown-up John Connor, while the other one shows Bale sneaking up behind a terminator which could be an ''old school'' T-600.

Aside from releasing the two images, EW also noted that the producers have already signed on for two more Terminator installments. The publication also gave out a bit of director McG's remark about Bale, quoting, ''It was important for me to get the most credible actor of his generation to come and add gravitas to what we were trying to achieve. I wanted to respect the audience, and be very mindful of the mythology. We take this very seriously.'' EW's "First Look At 2009" will be on the newsstands January 2.

"Terminator Salvation" is the fourth installment of the "Terminator" franchise. Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, it follows a stranger whose past could not be justified, Marcus Wright, when he joins John Connor in his resistance army. Beside Christian Bale, the movie also sees Sam Worthington as Wright and is slated to be released in the U.S. on May 22, 2009.
