Jayden James, the 2-year-old son of Britney Spears, reportedly is "doing fine" following a hospitalization over the weekend for what was cited as "a terrible allergic reaction." The tyke is expected to be discharged from the hospital Tuesday, November 11.
Britney and her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden, arrived in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana Friday morning, November 7 for family time. It was the first time that the pop singer has been allowed to leave California with the boys since her ex-husband Kevin Federline was granted the full custody of them in July. Also joining Britney and her sons were her mother Lynne Spears, father Jamie Spears, and brother Bryan Spears.
A family friend stated that the Spears clan initially were expected to be at church on Sunday morning, November 9, but instead took Jayden to the hospital when his condition didn't get any better. In a statement posted Monday, November 10 on Britney's official site, a representative for the family wrote, "Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow."
Per People as informed by a family source, Jayden was admitted to the facility at about 1:30 P.M. after suffering "a terrible allergic reaction." He, moreover, also "had hives, was itchy and irritable." The cause of the allergic reaction remains questionable at press time.
Britney was claimed to be driving Jayden to the hospital by herself. Her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, brother Bryan and mother Lynn were all seen at the hospital and so did her older son Sean. As for the boys' father, Kevin, he reportedly has been informed about Jayden's hospitalization and will fly out to the Mississippi facility to be by his son's side.
Meanwhile, a new report has just surfaced that Britney and her family have left the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. It is still not known though if Jayden has been released from the facility.
