Actor Kevin Costner is set to become a father once again as his wife Christine Baumgartner is pregnant with their second child. His representative confirmed to Star magazine, "Yes, Kevin and Christine Costner are expecting their second child."

Christine's exact due date and the baby's sex haven't been disclosed, but a friend of the family is said to have revealed that Kevin and Christine are expecting a baby boy. She reportedly is due to deliver the infant this spring.

Kevin and Christine "are ecstatic" over the pregnancy news. They are said to be feeling "so incredibly blessed right now as everything in their life is perfect."

The baby Christine is carrying will join her and Kevin's eldest child, son Cayden Wyatt Costner, born May last year. Kevin also fathers other children; Annie, Lily, Joe, and Liam, from previous relationships.

In other Kevin news, it was confirmed late last month that he's about to release a country music album with Modern West, a rock-country band which he founded with the encouragement of his wife Christine. The album, which title has not yet been disclosed, is claimed to feature 12 new songs, half of which are co-written by Kevin himself. The record will reportedly hit the market on November 11 later this year.
