Eager with her plan of creating a pop/rock band, Selena Gomez announces that an audition for her band mates will be held shortly.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez gets close to her dream of forming a band. She says that she will hold an audition in an attempt to find her band mates. "We plan on holding auditions in Hollywood," the Disney stars says in a statement. "And in the meantime I will be in the studio recording some of the songs."
Speaking further about her project, Selena states that she is thrilled with the idea of creating a band. "As far as actual band members right now, we do not have any, but it is getting closer and closer and I am really excited to be in the studio," she adds.
Previously, Selena revealed that the upcoming album, that she would work on with her not-yet-named band, would carry pop and rock tunes. She also planned to play instruments on some of the upcoming album's tracks. "I basically want to make music that is fun and that parents and kids can jump around to and have a good time to," she said. "I will be singing, and I'm learning drums and playing electric guitar."
