Beyonce Knowles' New Songs 'If I Were a Boy' and 'Single Ladies'

Beyonce Knowles shows her different sides in two new tunes from her upcoming 'I Am...' LP.

AceShowbiz - Two brand new singles from Beyonce Knowles have been premiered. "If I Were a Boy" is an up-tempo song which represents the fun side of her while "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" is a ballad tune who shows the singer in her serious mood.

Previously, Beyonce revealed that her upcoming album would present her most personal side and she dared to take risks on it. " ... I am in a different place right now, and I wanted people to see the many sides of me," she said. " ... I have taken risks here. I am not afraid. ... There is no label or tag on my sound. It's me, and I am so excited to share it with the world."

Beyonce's third forthcoming major studio effort is officially called "I Am..." and it is scheduled for purchase on November 18 under the courtesy of Columbia Records. Meanwhile, for the promotional project for her upcoming set, the "Crazy in Love" singer, who admit to have recorded over 70 songs in the past twelve months for her new album, reportedly plans a world tour. Unfortunately, no words are available regarding the tour details.

Elsewhere, the 27-year-old singer plays Etta James, a musician who was best known for her 1961 ballad, "At Last", on a forthcoming big screen titled "Cadillac Records". The movie, that narrates the story of the rise and fall of Chess Records and the violence, racial conflict, and the legends that rocked Chicago music world in the 1950', is expected to hit the theaters on December 5.
