Reportedly planning to release a follow-up to her first music record, just months after its release, Scarlett Johansson creates another media buzz as she reportedly is busy preparing for her wedding to actor fiance Ryan Reynolds. Friends of her revealed details of the preparation she's been doing lately to OK! magazine.
In succession to previous reports that claimed Scarlett has been spotted trying on Monique Lhuillier dresses in L.A. in February and paging through In Style Wedding and Brides Magazines in Beverly Hills on August 5, she's claimed to have been wanting a simple wedding. Unlike many other celebrities who would like to have a star-studded wedding, Scarlett and Ryan are planning to have "a small civil ceremony."
The couple, according to a friend of her, would only invite her twin brother Hunter as the witness. "Scarlett's not big on some over-the-top wedding with white doves and 300 guests," the friend said in a statement.
And while Scarlett has yet commented on the report, she's been quoted as jokingly telling OK! in a previous chit chat "I'm very excited. Hopefully I'll be able to get through [Canadian] immigration much faster now!" Friends of Ryan elsewhere said the actor is "just so excited she said 'Yes' that he doesn't care when or where they wed, as long as she says 'I do.'"
Scarlett in the meantime has become talk of the town due to her lesbian scene with fellow actress Penelope Cruz in Woody Allen's comedy-drama-romance "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," which is due to hit the theaters Friday, August 15. Her debut LP "Anywhere I Lay My Head" was released in May.
