The engagement ends and the couple split. Report surfaced by the hour that Sarah Harding is dumped by her boyfriend Tom Crane after he got jealous of her close friendship with several of the male dancers of her music act Girls Aloud. The blonde beauty is said to feel "devastated" over the split.

Rumor has it that Crane has struggled with rumors about Sarah's links with other men. And it's her close friendship with one dancer in particular, Jackson Williams, that apparently triggers the split.

A friend of Crane told the Mirror, which first broke report on the couple's split, "It is a really sad situation but Tom has definitely walked out on Sarah. It is extremely difficult dating a pop star and they were apart for huge amounts of time. He does his own thing and couldn't really join her when she was on tour."

As for Sarah, the friend stated, she "was constantly linked with other men and, even though it's always been perfectly innocent, he found it tough. All the girls are incredibly close to their backing dancers - they've become like family. Jackson happens to be straight so the pair got linked as they are really good friends. Sarah tried to reassure Tom nothing was going on and even stopped seeing Jackson for a bit to prove her point. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and Sarah's been left single and devastated."

Sarah is currently recording the new Girls Aloud album and reportedly comforted by her bandmates.

Sarah and Crane, a DJ, are engaged. The Daily Star reported their engagement in April, claimed he proposed to her with a horse. The news media was informed by a source, he wanted to buy her a horse to play polo on rather than a conventional wedding ring. "Anyone can buy a diamond ring but what Sarah loves about Tom is that he's not that obvious," the source was quoted as saying.

Sarah's camp has yet made comment on the break up reports.
