Lil Wayne Taps T-Pain on New Music Video

The rapper reportedly will be premiering a new clip for his latest song "Got Money" from his LP "Tha Carter III" that will be shot on Monday, June 23.

AceShowbiz - Following the success of his new LP "Tha Carter III", Lil Wayne is set to further promote the record by preparing to launch a new music video for his latest song. Wayne reportedly will shoot the clip for his latest single "Got Money" in Los Angeles starting from Monday, June 23.

Just like its single the rapper will also tap T-Pain to feature on the music video. Not only that Wayne will also reunite with the director of his latest clip for "Lollipop", Gil Green, who has also been picked to direct the upcoming video.

It seems that Wayne's collaboration with T-Pain will not only end after the release of "Got Money" as the Lollipop rapper himself has recently hinted that he plans to form a super group with Pain saying, "We both have the same energy, I don't sleep. If you ask anybody, I don't sleep. I think it's the cousin of death. As much as you sleep, you're impersonating death to me. He don't sleep. I play all day. He plays all day and all night. The connection is crazy. He loves to be creative, he loves to work; I love to create, I love to work. He really wants people to respect his rapping; I really want people to respect my harmonizing."

Meanwhile, before shooting his new video or starting any new project with T-Pain, Wayne is about make a special performance today (Friday, June 20) on the new MTV program FNMTV. On the show which is being hosted by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, the rapper is expected to sing some of his hit songs such as "Lollipop" and "A Milli".
