The rock band take no time to release their new album, after releasing "Santi" in 2007.

AceShowbiz - Indie rock band The Academy Is... don't wait long to release a new album. Following the release of their latest set "Santi" in 2007, the band have already started the working of their upcoming album.

The Academy have headed back to the studio earlier this week to begin the album's production. The yet to be titled LP, is set to be the band's third studio album so far. It is also said that the next album would be consisting about 20 tracks.

Commenting about their upcoming new album, William Beckett the band's lead singer said, "I would compare it to starting over." In the working of the new set, the rock band are working with two music producers Sam Hollander and Dave Katz, who have previously worked with other famous names, such as Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship and Blake Lewis.

Meanwhile, The Academy's previous albums before the upcoming one are "Santi" as the second album and "Almost Here" released in 2005 as the first album. In other news, the band recently have got a recognition from Rolling Stone magazine that voted them as one of the top ten artists to watch in 2008.
