The video for The Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger cover of Duran Duran's "Rio" has been premiered on April 30.

AceShowbiz - The music video for The Pussycat Dolls' lead singer Nicole Scherzinger's cover of Duran Duran's "Rio" has just been premiered on April 30. The video sees Nicole in a pink dress singing the tune on a stage in front of a full packed crowd.

The single was actually made for ads promotion of a new Carress' body wash product in Brazil, the Carress Brazilian Exotic Oil Infusions. Before having its radio release in early May, the song has already been made available for tuning and downloads on the brand's official website on April 8.

Commenting on her reason to record "Rio" and working with Carress, Nicole said "Brazil is all about smooth moves, vivacious sounds and beautiful skin. That's why I'm thrilled to be recording such a fun, Brazilian remake of my favorite Duran Duran song for Caress. Just like the new Caress Brazilian body wash, it's sexy, spirited and will inspire women to unleash the enchantment of Brazil."

Unfortunately, the cover song itself reportedly won't be included on her upcoming album "Her Name Is Nicole" which hasn't had a release date yet. Beside working on her solo project, Nicole reportedly is currently working to finish her group's second album.
