R. Kelly is relatively quick to spawn a new album after releasing "Double Up" only last year. The R 'n' B singer announced that he will release "12 Play: Fourth Quarter" this summer as his twelfth studio album and he has dyed his hair gold for the new image.

The first single from the album, according to Billboard.com is "Hairbraider" that leaked earlier this month. The single has even entered the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at #59 plus a video has also been shot in Chicago last month with director Malcolm Jones.

On other R. Kelly news, the singer has launched a lawsuit to concert promoter Rowe Entertainment for selling non-existent shares in his recent tour. Kelly said that there was a scheme where "unwary investors were promised half the profits from three Kelly concerts in late December and early January, in return for a cash investment of $440,000."

He added, "After the concerts, the investors were allegedly presented with what was described as a false accounting showing that the concerts had lost money, as a result of which there were no profits to be paid out." Kelly further explained that he has "complete sympathy for all of the good people who were swindled by Rowe" and will do everything he can "to help them get their money back from him."
