Motley Crue, First Act to Drop Single via 'Rock Band'

Motley Crue who has mapped out dates for Crue Fest this year, have released their brand new single via the video game.

AceShowbiz - Motley Crue have begun the series of promotional acts to support their new release, "Saints of Los Angeles". Beside, preparing the annual Crue Fest that will hit North American indoor stadiums, the rock band have also tied a deal with Rock Band to release their new single through the video game.

Backed up by Live Nation, Crue will bring Buckcherry, Sixx: A.M., Papa Roach and Trapt as supporting acts in their 41-dates jaunt. The trek will begin July 1 in West Palm Beach, Fla and wraps up August 31 in Pittsburgh. Tickets have been available through TheRockVine.com for earlybirds and will be sold via LiveNation.com on Friday, April 18.

In addition, Crue will be the first band to release their new single through Rock Band video game which is available in both XBox and Playstation. Rock Band as a sponsor will also open a tent at each tour stop of their concert to enable concertgoers to play the game.

"Saints of Los Angeles" will hit the stores on June 17 via Motley Records. Its title track which is made the lead, was previewed in a press conference and is also available on iTunes. Bassist Nikki Sixx, speaking on the new album said in an interview with RollingStone.com, "For the first record we've done in 10 years, it's really, really, really good. I got to tell ya. I'm very excited," before adding that "this album feels a little truer our core."
