Mark Ronson has denied that he ever being asked to DJ at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter's upcoming birthday party.

AceShowbiz - It seemed to be near the truth when reports surfaced on Mark Ronson being booked by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to dee-jay at Suri's second birthday party. The British musician has responded to this and laughed off the report, saying that it is simply "ridiculous".

Ronson for one thing, was linked to the Hollywood couple since he DJed at their 2006 wedding after-party. "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard," Ronson spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his breakfast radio show in L.A.. "I DJ'd Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding and I guess somebody just thought it would be a funny story to make up."

"Could you imagine the inappropriateness of really loud music at a two-year-old's birthday party? It's just unbelievable," he continued. Ronson however, would not rule out the plan should the Cruises approached him personally. "I wouldn't turn it down if they asked," he said with a laugh. "I haven't been DJing bar-mitzvahs or weddings or birthdays lately."

Suri, the couple's first daughter together, will turn two on April 18 and rumor has it the parents want a huge party for her. Beyonce Knowles was also attached to appear at the party, but not yet confirmed whether as a guest-only or a performer.
