The restricted trailer of "The Foot Fist Way" is now available online. The video footage promoting the Paramount Vantage's comedy film lasts nearly two and a half minutes.
The trailer began with the film's lead character Fred Simmons promoting the Tae Kwon Do sport to a young girl. Then, the narrator takes over and the trailer points out that Will Ferrell and Adam McKay both love the movie and apparently the entire Judd Apatow crew is obsessed with it.
Directed and co-written by first-time filmmakers Jody Hill, the film tells about self-deluded Simmons, a macho Tae Kwon Do instructor who is heartbroken by his wife betrayal and finds his life spiraling downwards after he attacks the man who slept with his wife. The film is made in just 19 days and with a very minimum budget.
Starring the "Hot Rod" actor Danny R. McBride, the funny film that became a hit at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival will have its limited release on May 30. Additionally, the red band trailer of "Foot Fist" can be watched below or on its trailer page at AceShowbiz.com.
