AceShowbiz - It takes time for Alejandro Sanz to come out of the closet and finally confirm he's dating his former assistant.
The Spanish pop/ballad musician has officially confirmed he's dating his former assistant Raquel Pereda, two years after they first started dating.
Confirming their alleged romance, Alejandro told reporters "Everything's going amazingly." Raquel, elsewhere, openly revealed "I'm his girlfriend".
Alejandro and Raquel added fuel to dating speculation after they were spotted together at a string of events late last year. Neither of them however commented about a romance. They were spotted on a date at the Smithsonian Latino Center in New York on Thursday, January 24.
Alejandro has one daughter with his former wife, model Jaydy Michel, named Manuela. Alejandro and Jaydy married in a private ceremony in Bali in 1998. They later on split up in 2005.
