To precede the theatrical release on March 14, Universal Pictures has released the first trailer of the thriller film that gave out the first look on the promised action-packed film.

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer of the thriller film "Doomsday". The trailer promised an action-packed film as it starts with someone yelling "This is the end of the world!" within the first two seconds.
Then, the narrator began saying, "It was an epidemic unlike any other..." explaining the spreading virus epidemic in 2008 causing authorities to brutally quarantine a country as it succumbs to fear and chaos when the virus strikes. Fast-forwarding to 2033, the contained virus resurfaces in a major city and spreading as expressed in a blood red digital map of London.
The trailer gives out glimpses of the chaos caused by the first virus outbreak and multiple action stunts that can be seen in the film released on March 14. It also let audience to have the first look on the leading actress Rhona Mitra and some of her action stunts done for the thriller, including a scene of sword fighting.
