Pretty Ricky Looking for New Member, Sued by the Ex
Music

Pretty Ricky gave out specific idea on what kind of person can join them to be the replacement of Pleasure who quit in October.

AceShowbiz -

After Pleasure walked away from R'n'B group Pretty Ricky in October, the remaining three members are forced to look for his replacement, which possibly will come up as a reality show. They won't just snatch any talented person and make him a member, but want a guy with rather specific quality.

Telling MTV on the specification, member Baby Blue said, "We want to stay true to the sound. We're a hip-hop and R&B group. The three of us rap, and the fourth member has to be a singer just to keep the music consistent." He added there should be a brother bond that enable the new member to "cope with all our family issues" and that he "got to be a woman magnet".

Later on, MTV also reported that Pleasure (real name Marcus Ramone Cooper) filed a lawsuit against Joseph Smith, head of Bluestar Entertainment, the company where Pretty Ricky was under and the group's management and booking company, International Artist Agency.

The lawsuit stated that Smith "exploited conflict of interests in the competing roles he occupied in Cooper's life", used physical intimidation to Pleasure's friend and that Pleasure has not received proper royalty after his contribution to the group that own two Gold-certified albums.

It was, however, reported that Bluestar which still own a contract with Pleasure also filed a lawsuit against him for breach of contract.

Pleasure aka 'the singing one' is keen on having a solo career, a path that he left upon joining Pretty Ricky in 2005. He will release a studio album in 2008.
