Britney Spears reportedly is in talks to make a guest appearance in "The Simpsons."

AceShowbiz - Working on her comeback to music scene probably is a hard job to do. But scoring a TV deal is a different thing. Britney Spears, notwithstanding with her messy personal life, reportedly is looking forward to be immortalized as a cartoon character in the hit TV sitcom "The Simpsons."

Words are mounting that Britney is being lined up to star in "The Simpsons" and is about to be spoofed at Bart's school, Springfield Elementary, in a nod to her famous first video for the 1999 hit "Baby One More Time."

Emmy-award winning actress Yeardley Smith who fills in the voice of Lisa Simpson, said that the pop star is "ripe for the picking. But we have to do it well - I don't want to be cruel."

British newspaper The Sun, meanwhile, quoted an unnamed source as saying "There are talks ongoing and it's hopeful it will happen. The appearance would be a positive one. Never mind what's happening in her private life, Britney is big again."

Should the report comes to fruition Britney will thus become the next star to have appeared in Springfield after the likes of actors Dustin Hoffman, Jack Lemmon and British PM Tony Blair.

Meanwhile, TMZ.com is reporting that Britney will celebrate Thanksgiving with young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James early that is on Wednesday November 21st with former husband Kevin Federline to repeat the honor the day after November 22nd. Deal on that matter has been reached by both parties' lawyers who are now in the process of negotiating Christmas celebration for the boys.
