There have been heavy talks that Tom Cruise is going to make a cameo in the upcoming comedy "Tropic Thunder" that Ben Stiller is directing, co-writing, co-producing, and starring in. Now looks like it can be confirmed for now that the mega-star is indeed involved as he has been captured on the set for the project last week.

The thing is, Cruise appeared to have undergone a big makeup for the role since he looked pretty unrecognizable on the location. The actor was spotted wearing a fat suit and bald cap along with beard and fake hair chest.

As The Hollywood Reporter previously pointed out, Cruise may play a despotic studio head who is in charge of the fictional film Stiller's character is going to shoot in the movie. The flick, according to Stiller himself, tells about five actors who go on location and find themselves relying on their boot camp experiences when they get stuck in a real war-like situation.
