The delay have been coming around Mary J. Blige's eight studio album which will now arrive December 18.

AceShowbiz - Mary J. Blige's album 'Growing Pains' gets a one week push back according to Rap-up.com. The eight studio album will be released on December 18 instead of December 11 as previously scheduled.

The delays have started since November when the album was expected to be released on the 20th but was changed to one week further. MeadiaTakeOut.com then reported that it was further pushed to December 11 to avoid a chart battle with Beyonce Knowles' live album and DVD combo.

Mary's label, Geffen, has reportedly complained on the money matter during the delays, saying that it cost them million of dollars just to get the new date.

'Growing Pains' has put one single 'Just Fine' ahead its release. Both the single and the music video have been released previously. It has been reported that collaborators in the album includes Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Ludacris, Ne-Yo and many more.
