Michael Jackson to satisfy fans' hunger by re-releasing the best-selling pop album of all time, with addition of remixes and four new tracks.

AceShowbiz - This could be the "exciting and surprising news" that Michael Jackson is talking about. While his new album is still a big question mark, Jackson is relieving his fans with the re-release of 'Thriller' (1982).

The album that is noted as the most successful pop record of all time will be re-packaged in line with its 25th anniversary.

Foxnews.com reported that the news version will contain remixes by Kanye West, Akon and will.i.am as bonus tracks on top of the original pieces. The four songs slated to be altered slightly are 'Billie Jean', 'The Girl is Mine', 'Wanna Be Startin' Something' and 'Pretty Young Thing'.

Jackson's rep Peter Lopez also told Foxnews that four tracks that didn't make the cut to 'Thriller' will also be included. The track titles are not yet released but a hint came from Jackson's long-time collaborator, Bruce Swedien who said that a "killer" track called 'Don't be Messin' Around' will be one of them.

Jackson recently brought in West to his album team after first contacting Ne-Yo and will.i.am.
