While the clip of 'Hook Me Up' has been set free on TV stations, The Veronicas are preparing the release of their new album.

The Veronicas have debuted the music video of a new single called 'Hook Me Up'. The song will appear as the lead single of their upcoming album 'The Secret Diaries of...' which is scheduled to arrive in U.S. on November 6.

The video was released on August 31 on Channel V and has been featured as the ripe clip on the music station. It shows members Lisa and Jessica being sent to a boarding school where the students uninterestingly enough bore blank faces. The mood in the school starts to change as their song is played.

'Hook Me Up' marks the group's transition to pop rock to more pop dance vibe. Lisa said in an interview that the Greg Wells-produced song is about being "stressed" and "wanting to get away from it all."

"I guess our first record did okay and it created a bit of a buzz and people were interested in finding out more about us in the US," Lisa said in an interview. "But definitely, with the next one, we'd like to get a bit more noticed."
