Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon are in final negotiations to star together in New Line Cinema's comedy "Four Christmases."

AceShowbiz - Looking forward to make a great on-screen match to each other, Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon are both involved in final talks to topline comedy flick "Four Christmases", New Line Cinema as the studio producing the flick has announced through its Production President Toby Emmerich.

The twosome have worked on recent movies coming from the company, with Vaughn starring in 2005's hit "Wedding Crashers" and Witherspoon playing the female lead in the upcoming thriller "Rendition." As for the project, the duo is said to portray a couple who struggle to visit all four of their divorced parents' homes on Christmas day.

Apart from being in the cast, Vaughn and Witherspoon will also serve as the producers alongside Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jon Glickman of Spyglass Entertainment. Meanwhile, Vicky Jenson is in charge to direct based on script by Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson with Emmerich, Mark Kaufman, and Michael Disco all overseeing the movie for New Line.
