Scissor Sisters has tied collaboration with Kylie Minogue for their third album tentatively titled "Kylie X".

Scissor Sisters are working 12 hours a day in the studio with Kylie Minogue. The group is recording their third album and is lining up a number of songs that may actually not made the cut with the Australian singer.

"We definitely work her really hard in the studio, from midday to midnight - although sometimes we pepper it with a shopping trip in between," frontman Jake Shears said. "We've written songs with her that are ridiculous and may never see the light of day. We've also written songs with her that I think are amazing but they may never see the light of day either."

Both parties have been in the same studio three years ago. Shears co-wrote Kylie's 2004 single "I Believe in You" with fellow "Sisters" Babbydaddy. Shears also said that not many has changed in Kylie from the last collaboration. He said, "She's still the same amazing person that she's always been, if not even more exuberant."

Rumor has it that Kylie's album will be titled "Kylie X" and will contain some cover songs such as Roxy Music's "Love is the Drug" and Culture Club's "Victims" although new material titled "I Want Everything" is also coming out of the collaboration with electroclash group Sneaky Sound System. The album is slated for the end of this year.
