Lil' Flip Accused of Credit Card Abuse in Houston
Celebrity

Rap artist Lil' Flip was arrested and charged with credit/debit card abuse in Houston Saturday July 21st.

AceShowbiz -

Lil' Flip made a brief visit to jail, literally. The rap star turned himself in to the Harris County Courthouse around 2:30 pm Saturday July 21st and was released shortly after posting a $2000 bail.

Flip was accused of credit card abuse after allegedly purchasing an airplane ticket using another man's American Express card. Per the authorities, it is said that Flip bought a Southwest Airlines ticket from Houston to Baltimore, cost $671, using a credit card owned by a man named Jordan Salinger, who didn't authorize the purchase.

Flip, on his defense, told authorities it was a man named Kevin Frank that actually bought the ticket and not him. Frank, on the other way around, denied buying the ticket claiming he doesn't even know Flip.

Well, it seems that the authorities will need more time to solve the case as the man who bought the ticket only went by the name of "Wesley" on the phone, which was close to Flip's government's name, Wesley Eric Weston, Jr.

Flip is scheduled to appear in court Monday July 23rd.
