James Blunt's "Back to Bedlam" beats Dido's 1999 album "No Angel" to be 21st Century's best selling U.K. album.

AceShowbiz - James Blunt's debut album "Back to Bedlam" has just passed Dido's "No Angel" to be the best selling U.K. album in the 21st Century. The CD has sold 3,020,490 copies, four thousand copies more than Dido's 1999 album sale.

As money keeps pouring in, James has been struck with a legal case following the multi-selling album's royalties. Producer Lukas Burton claimed that he has the right to the royalties after he penned six songs within the album. James is now suing back Burton by providing testimony that he was indeed the sole writer.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Now that James is a multi-millionaire star it seems a string of people are expecting a slice of the cake. This dispute with Lukas has been rumbling for a while - and James has decided to take action."

"You're Beautiful", the single that helps to booze the album's sale, was voted as the most irritating song of all time in a recent online poll. Blunt responded to it by saying, "It's a huge honour to be recognised in this way. I am not going to take offence at the result of the poll - unless of course I came second. That would be desperately offensive."

Meanwhile, the piano that James used to compose the hit was put up for auction in London. It fetched 1,200 to an unnamed buyer who bought it for his 6-year-old daughter.

James' sophomore set is titled "All the Lost Souls" and will hit stores on September 17.
