NBC News has on Thursday June 21st denied report that it was planning to pay Paris Hilton for $1 million for a post-jail interview.

As soon as there were reports flying that NBC has offered to pay the heiress $1 million for a tell-all interview after her release from the Century regional detention center in Lynwood, California, on Monday June 25th, the network officially released a denial.

In a statement released through its spokeswoman Allison Gollust, it is confirmed that "NBC News has not and will not pay for interviews" adding that "We don't have an agreement in place for Paris Hilton." NBC News also denied that NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker had called Paris' father, Rick Hilton, to lobby for "Today."

Paris' spokesman, in addition, also denied any interviews, saying "Paris Hilton is not being paid for any television interview. Nor is Paris being paid for any collateral, including video and photographs related to any television interview."
