Writer-director Michael Davis reportedly is preparing a follow-up to his upcoming "Shoot 'Em Up."

AceShowbiz -

The original is not yet come up to the surface until September 7 this year, but a sequel is already prepared on the card to get it made.

Writer-director Michael Davis has revealed to ComingSoon.net yesterday, June 8 that he is up for a follow-up to the upcoming "Shoot 'Em Up" and even already has a script which he intends to submit to New Line Cinema sometime this summer.

"So if I ever wanted to do a sequel and create a different back story that had a little bit more residence for the new story, I could make up a new back story which I think is kind of fun," he remarked.

The British filmmaker further informed that he looks at the flick as a potential franchise and believes the lead actor, Clive Owen, would return to reprise his role. In the meantime, he also confirmed that both of him and Owen would attend this year's Comic-Con in San Diego held on July 26-29 to screen the entire hard core action flick.
