Boyz N Da Hood will release their sophomore effort which took almost two years to complete.

Rap quartet Boyz N Da Hood is back without Young Jeezy in new album. The sophomore effort which is titled "Back Up N Da Chevy" will be dropped August 7 via Bad Boy/ Atlantic Records.

Appearing in this album are Ice Cube who contributes his voice in song "Choppas" and Rick Ross who gives assistance in two tracks "Paper" and "Table Dance". Fellow Bad Boy artist Yung Joc is also featured on two songs "We Ready" and "Nothing is Promised".

The first single from the album titled "Everybody Know Me" has been streaming on iTunes since April 10.

The groups' self-titled debut album in 2005 was sold for 383,000 copies in U.S. and entered Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at #1.

The group's ex-member Young Jeezy formed another group U.S.D.A. which debut album entered at #4 in Billboard's Hot 200 this week through selling 95,000 units of "Young Jeezy Presents U.S.D.A.: Cold Summer".
