The gray-haired American Idol has found the love of his life. Taylor Hicks, the winner of the fifth season of American Idol, has reportedly dating Caroline Lyders, the morning co-anchor for the weekday edition of Milwaukee's ABC affiliate WISN "12 News This Morning."

Hicks and Lyders were photographed last week on a Hawaii beach before then caught canoodling on the beach recently. Though so neither of them confirm they are dating.

Being asked on their being couple, Lyders told OnMilwaukee.com managing editor Bobby Tanzilo Wednesday morning May 30th, "Yes, Taylor and I are friends, and as a journalist I respect your asking. But beyond that, I'd rather not comment on my personal life."

Meanwhile, sources close to Hicks remain tight-lipped as well, claiming "I don't know about any new girlfriend. But I'm not surprised. Taylor always had girls following him even before he ever became famous."

Well, at least we all know by now that Taylor Hicks isn't gay like many people have assumed before.
