Heading for the same destination, Shannyn Sossamon, Vinnie Jones, Christopher Lee, George Harris, Gary Stretch, Stephen Rea, Geoff Bell, and Jean Marsh have all signed on to bring highlight to "The Heavy", a crime thriller set up at Parkland Pictures' pit.
Pic concerns a henchman (Stretch) who is forced to forgive a debt to his shady businessman boss (Rea) by killing his own brother, a high profile politician. The plan, however, begins to unravel when he gets involved with a student (Sossamon), whose flat he plans to use for the crime, and a corrupt detective (Jones) gets on his trail.
Production on the project has already begun in the U.K. with Marcus Warren helming from his own script. Seating as the producers are John Cairns, Cortney Haile, and Tosca Musk while Mark Cellier and John Daly are both executive producing.
