A hip hop musician and founding member of the popular music group Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am is jumping into fashion bandwagon.
The lyricist and music producer is teaming up with Blue Holdings, Inc., a designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-end fashion jeans, apparel and accessories, to launch a new denim line.
"I produce and write my own music, and the same creativity, energy and imagination I put into making music is the same creativity, energy and imagination I put into designing clothes. I am excited to collaborate with Antik to create a fresh remix of denim," will.i.am said in a statement.
The new denim line, "i.am Antik," will initially consist of a Premium Denim collection. It is meant to compliment Blue Holding's Antik Denim Collection and slated to be distributed to high end specialty stores and upscale department stores August later this year.
