Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon have both been submitted into the cast of Julian Jarrold's drama "Brideshead Revisited."

AceShowbiz - Bringing a great boost to the project, Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon have both given their commitment to join Ben Whishaw, Matthew Goode, and Hayley Atwell in "Brideshead Revisited", of which North American distribution rights have successfully been obtained by Miramax Films.

An adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's classic novel of the same title, the drama follows an Oxford student named Charles Ryder, played by Goode, as he gets entangled with a seductive but troubled family of Anglo-Catholic aristocrats. Now that the project is fully finances, filming reportedly is set to begin June this year taking locations in Yorkshire, Oxford, Venice, and Morocco. Assuming helming duties is Julian Jarrold who will direct from script penned by Andrew Davies and Jeremy Brock while Alison Owen, Douglas Rae, Jeremy Thomas, and Robert Bernstein are all producing.
