Sylvester Stallone was detained for hours on arrival at Sydney airport for a number of prohibited imports found in the luggage of his and his entourage's.

AceShowbiz - An unpleasant experience happened to action star Sylvester Stallone as he landed feet at Sydney Airport in Australia where he is scheduled to promote his latest movie "Rocky Balboa."

Media reported Saturday, February 17, 2007, that the actor was detained for hours on arrival at the airport when officials there spotted prohibited imports in his luggage and that of his entourage. No details on what the items were or whose luggage among Stallone's party they were found.

"As a result of having their luggage x-rayed, a number of prohibited items were seized by Customs," Australian Customs Service national investigations manager Richard Janeczko stated to Ten Network television news. "Mr. Stallone was allowed to continue with his party and our investigations are continuing."
