Based on Roy Freirich's debut novel, the project focuses on the survivors of a brutal restaurant murder who are left to divine their own individual paths to understanding their mortality and connection to society. Production is expected to start on March 19 this year with Rowan Woods at helm.

Whitaker, who is also a screen director and producer, is last seen playing in "The Last King of Scotland" that has won him a Golden Globe this year while Pearce in "Factory Girl" which saw him appear opposite Sienna Miller. As for Beckinsale and Fanning, they were recently reported to star in "Whiteout" and "Hurricane Mary", respectively.
