Completing Kristen Stewart's previous statement about her involvement in "The Yellow Handkerchief", here have come several details provided by Variety about the drama project.

"Brothers in Trouble" helmer Udayan Prasad is on board to direct with Chris Menges and Robin Simmerly serving as the cinematographer and art department coordinator, respectively while Arthur Cohn is set to produce. Production is scheduled to begin on March 22 in New Orleans, Louisiana instead of in April as Stewart remarked.

The flick itself is actually a remake of a 1977 Japanese picture titled "Shiawase no kiiroi hankachi" which was made based on Pete Hamill's novel "The Yellow Handkerchief of Happiness." Accompanying Stewart in the cast besides the previously mentioned William Hurt and Maria Bello is Eddie Redmanyne who is last seen on the big screen playing Edward Bell Wilson Jr. in "The Good Shepherd."
