AceShowbiz - This is not a joke. Anna Nicole Smith, the one many people know as a US model and reality TV star, died Thursday afternoon Feb 7th after collapsing at a hotel.
The former Playboy Playmate was found unconscious at 1:39 p.m. ET in a room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, north of Miami and was soon thereafter rushed by ambulance shortly after 2 p.m. to nearby Memorial Regional Hospital, where she died. She was 39.
By the time the news was made public there has yet explanation on the cause of Smith's death. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday Feb 9th, Seminole, Fla. Police Chief Charlie Tiger told reporters, adding "The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner. The Broward County medical examiner and Seminole police department will continue its investigation into this matter."
Smith checked into the hotel Monday Feb 5th, and was accompanied by her lawyer boyfriend Howard K. Stern. They due to check out Friday. Smith's attorney, Ron Rale, told reporters she had been suffering from flu-like symptoms for the last couple of days. I guess we better wait for the result of the autopsy first before come to any of such speculation.
