Mike Piazza, famous for becoming Oakland A's catcher, is now a dad. The star and his wife Alicia Rickter happily welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Saturday Feb 3rd.
The baby, named Nicoletta Veronica Piazza, was born in a New York hospital. "Both baby and mother are doing fine," Piazza's representative told People magazine.
Piazza and Alicia, a Playboy Playmate, married on January 29, 2005 at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Miami, Florida.
