AceShowbiz - It is sad for us to inform that Patti LaBelle has already had her current tour, "The Gospel According to Patti," postponed. The singer announced the cancellation of her tour on Monday Dec 18th.
The postponement of the tour reportedly occurs as a result of differences with the tour's promoter. However, LaBelle claimed she had a good relationship with sponsors and hoped to restart the tour.
"I really had hoped to continue to reach the gospel audience as we had originally planned. But I have an obligation to my staff to make sure they can keep their plans without last minute changes and to make sure they are paid for the work they do," the star said.
The tour, which began in October, had been scheduled to continue in Philadelphia, Cleveland and St. Louis, among other cities.
