Seems the road goes fairly smooth for Pamela Gray as Fox Searchlight Pictures has delightfully picked up her pitch, which is not yet titled, to be developed into a big screen feature.

Intended to be an enjoyable comedy picture, the project tells about group of women who reunite around one woman's important milestone. Besides penning the script, which she intends to finish by the next couple of months, Gray will also make her directorial debut here.

In related news, Gray has also been assigned by Disney to write the screenplay of its new project "Deenie" based on Judy Blume's novel of the same title. The story follows a young woman as she struggles to define herself independently from the dreams and expectations her parents have for her.
