A change has been made to the "Fantastic Four" sequel, but need not worry, it just applied to the title only. 20th Century Fox has confirmed that the second installment of the franchise has fitted itself to a new name of "Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer", shifting from the old one, "Fantastic Four and The Silver Surfer."

Aside from the title, all thankfully remain the same. Principal cast members like Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, and Jessica Alba are returning as the superhero team and so is director Tim Story. Mark Frost is still on duty to pen the script with Stan Lee, Avi Arad, Bernd Eichinger, plus Ralph Winter seating as the film's producers.

Scheduled for a June 15, 2007 release, the sequel follows the heroic quartet's efforts to stop the destruction of Earth prepared by the enigmatic, intergalactic herald The Silver Surfer while at the same time facing the return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom.
