Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank will star in "Labyrinth", a remake of the 2003 French thriller.

AceShowbiz - Hilary Swank takes double jobs this time. Not only produce "Labyrinth", a remake of the 2003 French thriller, the Oscar-winning actress is also set to play a role in the movie, so Variety has reported.

Besides Swank, other producers include Rachel Rothman and Victoria Wisdom plus Erik Feig and Patrick Wachsberger from Summit Entertainment while Mark Morgan and Guy Oseary will produce for Maverick Films. As for the picture's screenplay, Russell Gewirtz has been appointed to pen the scripts upon the premise of a mental patient with multiple personalities who holds clues to the whereabouts of a serial killer.

Swank next is about to be seen portraying Madeleine Sprague in Brian De Palma's "The Black Dahlia" set to come to theaters in September this year. Her recent film credits include "The Core" (2003), "Red Dust" (2004), and "Million Dollar Baby" (2004) which scored the beauty her second Oscar in best actress category.
