New queuing role for Joaquin Phoenix, again!

AceShowbiz -

Down the stage after singing the country tunes as Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line", a reservation has been put upon Joaquin Phoenix.

This time, though there hasn't been any confirmation which cast is set for Phoenix, this next screenplay is another novel-based written by John Burnham Schwartz. It is his second novel entitled "Reservation Road" to be adapted onto the big screen version.

The story wanders around the quest of a lonely father for the murder of his 10-year old son, who was killed in an accidental hit-and-run. The driver himself is in the torn of hating his deed and seeking his own safety. Phoenix might play for either of the role.

So far, there hasn't been any confirmation upon which studios to work on the movie. The scriptwriter of "The Waterhorse", who last helming "Hotel Rwanda", Terry George, is this movie plan's helm. The independently financed project is starting to shoot after Phoenix is done with the currently in-production "We Own the Night".
