And due to such fact, Sum 41 who is in the middle of recording a new studio album, will keep on going with the recording process and will not seek a permanent replacement for Baksh.

Speaking on Baksh's leaving, lead singer Deryck Whibley posted message on the band's Web site (https://www.sum41.com) saying "He was sick of this whole life and would have more fun playing in his own classic metal band. So we respect that. There's no hard feelings whatsoever."
